ABOUT JULIE BERG

Julie is a registered psychologist with over 35 years experience in clinical and
organisational psychology within the public and private sectors. She has the
following current professional standing.

  •  Fellow of College of Organisational Psychologists (COPS)

  •  Nationally Accredited Mediator (NMAS)

  •  Approved treating practitioner of WorkCover/SIRA and Medicare.

CLINICAL

 

Medecins Sans Frontieres - Psychological support to Medical, Allied Health Professionals and Logistics staff returning from overseas missions and general counselling for Administrative Staff 2003-2021.

Assure Programs-Associate Psychologist-psychological services for Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) across the wide diversity of client organisations that Assure Programs delivers plus on site support services for critical incidents and restructuring in the workplace 2013-2022.

 

Independent Transport Safety Regulator - Specialist trauma support services to ITSR personnel 2006-2017.

NSW Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions - Employee assistance services and support for Lawyers, Crown Prosecutors and Admin staff; advising on mental health issues in the work place 1997-2008.

NSW Fire Brigades - Employee assistance services; advising on many strategies related to mental health issues in the workplace. Clinical Director of the innovative and awarded Critical Incident Support Program 1989-2002.

Australian Psychological Society/WorkCover NSW - Accreditation training for over 850 treating psychologists and counsellors on WorkCover Treatment Guidelines 2010-2011.

 

Beyondblue - Senior Accredited Facilitator raising awareness of mental health issues in the workplace and community organisations at the outset of these innovative programs 2006-2011.
